Whoop. The brilliant Australian indie rock trio The Goon Sax will be coming to Bedford Esquires on Tuesday the 1st of February 2022 as part of Independent Venue Week.
Signed to heavyweight US label Matador (Interpol, Perfume Genius) their recent album ‘Mirror II’ is a firm favourite in the Esquires Office with influences from the likes of New Order, The Psychedelic Furs and Echo and the Bunnymen. You might also hear echoes of The Go Betweens in their songs, which is perhaps unsurprising given that lead singer Louis in the son of Robert Forster.
