Alongside the likes of Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr and Souls Of Mischief, The Pharcyde were one of a growing number of rap groups in the 90s rising up the charts with their own brand of social commentary. They come to Esquires armed with one of the finest back catalogues of the era, including mega hits such as Passin’ Me By, Drop, Runnin’ and many more.
