Submotion Orchestra
Submotion Orchestra + Guests
7.30pm, Sunday 25th March – Bedford Esquires
Submotion Orchestra makes some of the most interesting and exciting music from the UK today: A kaleidoscope of electronic bass music, entrancing vocals, and ambient jazz and dub that sits somewhere on an axis between Bonobo and London Grammar. Their unique music is at once delicate and heavy, spacious and dense, highly atmospheric but firmly rooted. Earth-shaking bass and drums, combined with lush keyboard and trumpet textures, creates the perfect backdrop for the fragile beauty of Ruby Wood’s vocals, and the celestial effects of producer Ruckspin.
Formed in Leeds in 2009, Submotion Orchestra have quickly made a name for themselves in the music scene, sharing stages with The Pharcyde, Hidden Orchestra, Bonobo and more. Their live gigs have left audiences open-mouthed, and their latest release, album Colour Theory, has drawn highly positive reviews. At Esquires, Submotion Orchestra will light up the stage with soulful vocals, velvety brass, and reverberating bass that’ll leave you hearing colours. Don’t miss out the chance to see these jazz fusion virtuosos in person. At official website you can order Lasix online next day delivery.
