SENSER – Defying Boundaries Since 1989
Born from the underground energy of free festivals, squat parties, and the acid rave scene, Senser
emerged in 1989, forging an incendiary fusion of beats, rhymes, heavy guitars, and a kaleidoscope of
musical influences. Their fearless experimentation gave rise to a sound that was as politically charged
as it was sonically innovative—a genre-defying force that continues to resonate today.
In 1994, Senser signed with Ultimate Records / A&M, unleashing their debut album ‘Stacked Up’ to
worldwide acclaim. The album smashed into the UK charts at No. 4, selling over 250,000 copies and
cementing their place in the alternative music landscape.
Their electrifying live presence saw them ignite legendary festivals, from Glastonbury (1992-1995,
1998) and Reading (1993, 1994) to Download (2010), Hellfest (2013), and Pukkelpop, captivating
audiences across Europe, the USA, and Japan. Sharing stages with Rage Against The Machine,
Henry Rollins, The Levellers, Skunk Anansie, and Tool, Senser carved a reputation as a
ferocious live act with an unrelenting message.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of ‘Stacked Up’, the band remastered and re-released the
album as ‘Stacked Up XX’, with legendary engineer John Dent (Bob Marley, The Clash, Motörhead,
The Prodigy) at the helm, breathing new life into a landmark record.
2025 marks the return of Senser with their sixth studio album, Sonic Dissidence. Upholding their
fiercely independent ethos, the record is entirely self-funded, self-produced, and released through
their own label, Imprint Music. Staying true to their signature blend of rock, metal, hip-hop, and
alternative electronica, the album solidifies Senser’s standing as pioneers of hybrid crossover
music. Sonic Dissidence is the band’s most distilled and uncompromising statement to date. No
filters. No compromises. 100% Senser.
We have some very special guests to add to the bill we will be announcing in July.
