Sarpa Salpa x Low Girl – joint headline tour
7.30pm The Lexington – London

We are very pleased to be hosting a Pad Presents showcase with 3 of our favourite artists at one of our favourite venues this February with a show at The Lexington on Pentonville Rd.

SARPA SALPA
A band with a penchant for Indie bangers, danceable rhythms with a hook heavy sound. A busy 2022 saw the band clock up a couple club headline tours, a trip to SXSW and a packed out Chalk in Brighton at The Great Escape. The band continue to capture the ears of both Radio 1, 6 Music, Amazing Radio, Radio X and regional stations across the UK . Their single ‘Dreaming’ picked up BBC Introducing Single of the Week on Radio 1 in September with numerous daytime plays across the station. New single ‘She Never Lies’ picks up where Dreaming left off and is already getting attention on the airwaves, the bands relentless DIY hard work see’s them win over crowds where ever they play and their efforts have seen the band pass 1 million streams on Spotify.
“This band is getting better and better with every single release. They will provide that rush of serotonin that you need” Jack Saunders – BBC Radio 1

LOW GIRL
Alt-Pop newcomers Low Girl have been going from strength to strength since releasing their debut EP ‘Big Now’ in 2021, with the title track from their debut playlisted by BBC6Music and their follow up ‘So Cool’ receiving support from 6Music and Radio 1, where it was featured as BBC Introducing TOTW in April. Their new EP ‘Uh-Oh’ coincides with this IVW tour and follows a busy few months supporting the likes of Pom Poko, October Drift, The Murder Capital and Dream Wife., as well as receiving major Spotify and press support.
New Single Bored has just been added to the BBC 6 Music playlist with plays across all the shows on the station.

ENJOYABLE LISTENS
Opening up proceedings is Enjoyable Listens the moniker for Luke Duffet the chisel-cheeked showbiz showman hoovering up the references to Cave (Nick), Cocker (Jarvis) Hannon (Divine Comedy) and, of course, Astley (Rick). EL recently released an LP with Fierce Panda Records and their singles have been supported by BBC Radio 6 (Steve Lamacq) & Radio X (John Kennedy) & BBC Introducing. On the live front the band have notched up some notable shows playing Glastonbury, SXSW, Great Escape, Focus Wales, Left Of The Dial in 2022 and Luke has been invited back to SXSW in 2023 as a special guest at the festival .
