The crown prince of British Hip Hop, and one of the most exciting artists on the High Focus Records imprint, Ocean Wisdom is heading to Bedford Esquires on Saturday 15th October for what promises to be one of our shows of 2016.
With a vocal ability that has been praised as outstanding, and lyrics that play out like a coming-of-age journal of a cheeky British teen, Wisdom first exploded onto the scene in late 2014 after uploading the Dirty Dike produced ‘Walkin’, which has gone on to rack up over 2 million views.
Recently he appeared on one of the finest Radio One ‘Fire in The Booth’ episodes in recent memory, showing his wide range on skills on the mic – Make sure you don’t miss him at Esquires, he won’t be playing these size venues much longer. Support on the night comes from Cee Major, a battle rapper and MC from London who made his Don’t Flop debut in 2012. He is considered top tier, and a former battle champ, now releasing a series of SBTV videos to acclaim. Needing no introduction, Phili N Dotz are making a welcome return to Esquires after over a year. The dream team of Phi Life Cypher’s Si Phili and former Don’t Flop battle champion Dotz have been releasing a series of heavyweight releases over the last couple of years, make sure you don’t miss their set.
