CEREMONY 3 – ‘A new music all-dayer from The Pad Presents, Roar Club & Club Biscuit’

1pm – Saturday 10th June, Esquires, Bedford

We are delighted to be able to finally announce the full line up for the third edition of CEREMONY – a multi room, gender balanced festival carefully curated by local promoters The Pad Presents, Roar Club and Club Biscuit to showcase some of best new acts out there.

Headlining the all day event on the 10th June will be one of the most talked about bands of 2023, PANIC SHACK. The irrepressible Welsh firebrands, who have just completed a sell-out UK tour, will be bringing energy, attitude and bangers like ’The Ick’ and ‘Whose Got My Lighter’ to the main stage. Exhilarating, inspiring and above all, immense fun, it’s going to be an absolute riot.

In Room 2 Portsmouth post-punkers HOTEL LUX will be providing acerbic anthems for fans of The Fall, The Streets and Yard Act, whilst we are also thrilled to confirm West Yorkshire anarchists THE LOUNGE SOCIETY will be returning to Esquires with their unique brand of disco-infused snarling rock.

Across the day you’ll also get to hear the alt-country pathos of 6Music favourites DIVORCE, the fire and passion of SNAYX and the guitar pyrotechnics of TREEBOY AND ARC.

Completing the line up is the evocative eighties dreampop of SHE’S IN PARTIES, the soon to be massive BIG SPECIAL, the gothic splendour of DOG RACE, the brooding atmospherics of BLOODY/BATH and the doomsday melancholy of Sweden’s JUNODEF.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be Ceremony without the arched eyebrow of the always brilliant ENJOYABLE LISTENS.

Last, but by no means least, we can also confirm that DEADLETTER will be performing early in the day to well and truly get the party started. Championed by Steve Lamacq, 6Music and regularly described as one of the most exciting new bands in the country, the South London six-piece are heady mix of saxophones, cowbells and LCD Soundsystem influenced dance punk.

As with previous years there will also be street food stalls and an outdoor stage curated by BLENDER with artists to be announced in the coming weeks .

Here at Bedford Esquires we are conscious of the cost of living crisis and for this reason we will selling the initial batch of tickets for Ceremony for just £20 so an early purchase is advised.

Tickets are available from 10am Seetickets on Friday 24th February and can be bought in person booking fee free from Slide Record Shop and Esquires Bar.
