It’s going to be a special one – BCUC are making their debut at the Bedford Esquires! BCUC, or Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness hail from South Africa, known for their high-energy blend of indigenous funk, hip-hop, punk-rock, and ancestral spiritual music.
Formed in 2011, they are celebrated for “Afro-psychedelic” performances, focusing on social issues and modern African narratives, often performing at major global music festivals, including Glastonbury and a visit to Bearded Theory this summer.
