Absolute treats incoming, with one of the most exciting bands on the entire planet heading to our little ol’ town all the way from the USA.
Currently A-Listed on BBC 6 Music, Bambara is a post-punk band currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2009 in Athens, Georgia, the band consists of Reid Bateh, Blaze Bateh, and William Brookshire.
The band spent the latter part of 2018 supporting Idles on their US tour and followed up in 2019 by releasing a swarm of incredible singles, including one of last years finest ‘Serafina’, which took over UK radio, projecting their sound into the households of a brand new audience.
Support comes from HOLY MOTORS a Tallinn, Estonia based dark twang & reverb band from a non-existent movie. It bows to engines and echos and film-directors. Cinematic suspension is often more than not what drives the band towards a melody and meaning.
